Mana Staff Spotlight
A spotlight on a few folks from the Mana team!
A good idea is nothing without a great team. Mana is the perfect example of that - our diverse and experienced team is what makes our ideas go from good to great!
This week, we spotlighted three of our team members to shine a little bit of light on the many stories of Mana’s squad!

Why I started working at Mana:
Like many others, I experienced a drastic change in my work, heath, and life balance as a result of the pandemic. When our CEO asked me to test out Mana, I was interested to see if Mana’s ability to track time could help me gain back some control and efficiency.
At the time, I was looking to change careers. When our CEO found out I was looking for a career shift, he offered me a job as his executive assistant so that I could gain experience while learning how to become organized and efficient with my time.
Through my employment at Mana, I gained many new skills from putting more focus on detail and accuracy to learning to use new programs to achieve efficiency and organization at work. Mana has helped me manage stress, gain happiness, and gain control of my life even while drastic changes were taking place. The reflection feature shows my progress, resolutions keep me on track, and the guide meetings help me manage realistic expectations for achieving goals.
Thanks to Mana, I have now successfully made a huge move from NYC to Hawaii, made many new friends locally, developed a workout routine that works for me, and purchased a car that I LOVE! Next step: getting an apartment! Working at Mana was a great choice for not only to gain skills for personal management but to gain a lot of experience and confidence for my future career!
Favorite Thing To Do With An Hour To Spare:
I would be Googling a recipe for something delicious that I ate during my travels. My next challenge is trying to make a rice cake with Trader Joe’s cookie butter in the center. It’s a treat that I recently had here in Hawaii, similar to a Japanese treat, called ‘daifuku’! Cooking replenishes my soul!

Why I started working at Mana:
Throughout my career, I've been passionate about helping people perform at their best. In the past, I've worked for large companies where I focused on creating professional development programs and helping leaders move into different phases of their career.
When I learned about the Guide position at Mana, I was excited to work with individuals one-on-one instead of focusing at a company level. My favorite part is getting to meet different people, all looking to get the most from their time.
As a mom of two young kids, I have often felt time is moving too quickly, and that I may not be spending my time on things that matter the most. Since I've been using Mana, I finally feel that I'm in control of where my time goes. It has reminded me that time is a finite resource, and even small moments can have a big impact!
Favorite Thing To Do With An Hour To Spare:
I'm usually playing board games with my family or baking with my kids. We are huge fans of Preppy Kitchen, and we are willing to try out any recipe once! When I can find a moment to myself, I'm a sucker for a good book.

Sabrina Cadini: Mana Guide
Age: 56
Location: San Diego, CA

Why you started working at Mana:
As a life coach, my approach is holistic (mind-body-heart-spirit). We as human beings are a system, and every decision we make in life and at work during the day can make a huge difference in our physical, mental, and emotional areas.
I immediately fell in love with Mana because it offers a holistic approach to time tracking, it’s not only about logging time. Mana offers tools to help you reflect on the time you spend in your 24 hours (you become more mindful), and it allows you to improve those decisions you make every day by setting goals (you value your time).
Favorite thing to do with an hour to spare:
Being in nature is my favorite activity! I’m lucky to live in an area close to parks, beaches, and walking/hiking trails, so I work out outdoors most of the time, and I make time to walk outside whenever I take longer breaks during work. I can easily say that nature heals, soothes, and restores as its benefits are multiple, physiologically and psychologically.
