Mid-Year Goal Reflection Session for the second half of the year (Video)
We are in June – where did the time go? – and it’s time to review your goals. Many people unfortunately skip this step because they feel it will take time away from their busy days between work and family responsibilities, but it’s actually the key to keep working towards your goals.
If you’re new to mid-year reviews, we’re glad you’re here! In the video above, our expert coach Sabrina Cadini shared a step-by-step process for a mid-year review.
During a mid-year review or reflection, you go through all of the goals that you created in January and evaluate everything to see if they’re still important to you. By doing this, you can measure what is working and change what is not. It’s totally normal if your goals become less relevant after a few months and reviewing them at this time of the year is very useful to correct the course or create new ones altogether.
Life is constantly changing, the world is constantly changing, and you have to be ready to adapt in your life and in your career. Maybe you need to change your journey to overcome a new set of challenges, and that doesn’t mean that you failed; it’s about flexibility and adaptation, this is why you want to revisit your goals, reconsider them, and analyze them regularly throughout the year to make sure you are on your path to success.

Step 1
Make sure you can dedicate about 30 minutes to an hour, completely uninterrupted, to go over the entire process, and write everything down (your answers from the reflection and your plan for the remainder of the year). When you write down your goals and intentions, you’re most likely to accomplish them.
