This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our services. This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

Who We Are

Mana operates a platform, which we make available through the Mana application available for download on your mobile device and our website at https://mana.ai/, that allows users to record what they do with their time, set life goals and share this information and communicate with life coaches and guides in order to receive guidance and advice, and for life coaches and guides to offer and provide their life coaching and guidance services to our users. Mana is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with operations in the United States, Romania and other locations around the world.

When we use the terms “Mana”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to Mana Hours, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

When we use the term “services”, we are referring to all the services that we offer on our own behalf, including our product offerings and the websites and mobile applications that post or link to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not cover or address personal information and privacy practices relating to Mana’s employees or prospective employees.

We may choose or be required by law to provide different or additional disclosures relating to the processing of personal information about residents of certain countries, regions or states. Please refer below for disclosures that may be applicable to you:

When we use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you. It does not include aggregated or deidentified information that is maintained in a form that is not reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you.

We collect personal information about individuals when they access and use our services. Sometimes we collect personal information automatically when an individual interacts with our services, and sometimes we collect the personal information directly from an individual. At times, we may collect personal information about an individual from other sources and third parties, even before our first direct interaction.

Personal Information You Provide

We collect the following personal information you provide in connection with our services:

  • Login and contact information, such as your email address and password or Apple ID.
  • Subscription information, such as when you purchased a subscription to our services, the duration of the subscription, and confirmation that the subscription fees have been charged to your Apple or Android account.
  • Information that you input when you use our services, such as the way you spend your time, the activities you undertake, how long you spend on any particular activity, your comments or reflections on the activities you have completed, the resolutions you set for yourself, and whether you have achieved those resolutions.
  • The content you upload to the social features of our services, such as any text, images or videos you send to life coaches and guides through our services.
  • Chat, comments and opinions. When you contact us directly, e.g. by email or phone we will record your comments and opinions.
  • Marketing and Communications Preferences, such as your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences, such as the language in which you choose to communicate with us.

Personal Information Automatically Collected

As is true of most digital platforms, we collect certain personal information automatically when you visit our online services, including:

  • Log File Data, including your internet protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type, browser id, date/time of visit, and pages visited.
  • Analytics Data, including the electronic path you take to our services, through our services and when exiting our services, as well as your usage and activity on our services, such as the links and objects you view, click or otherwise interact with (also known as “clickstream data”).
  • Approximate Location Data, including your general geographic location based on your IP address or more precise location when accessing our online services through a mobile device.

Personal Information from Other Sources and Third Parties

We also obtain personal information from other sources, which we often combine with personal information we collect either automatically or directly from you.

We receive the same categories of personal information as described above from the following sources and third parties:

  • Information provided by social networks. When you interact with our services through various social media networks, such as when you “Like” us on Facebook or when you follow us or share our content on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram or other social networks, we may receive some information about you that you permit the social network to share with third parties. We use this information to better understand the demographics of our customers and to inform our advertising and marketing activities. The data we receive depends on your privacy settings with the social network. You should always review and, if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third party websites and social media networks and services before linking or connecting them to our Services.
  • Information we receive from authentication services you connect to our services. Some parts of our services may allow you to login through a third party social network or authentication service such as Google. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us, which could include your name, email address, address book and contacts, or other information.   • Information provided by others. From time to time, we may receive information about you from third parties and other users, including life coaches and guides. For example, we may obtain information from our marketing partners or from third parties to enhance or supplement our existing user information. We may also collect information about you that is publicly available. We may combine this information with the information we collect from you directly.
  • Information provided by our affiliates. We may receive information about you from our affiliates so that information you provide to one company may be used by another company to provide you Services, communicate with you or provide you advertisements or other personalized content.

Our Use of Personal Information

We use personal information we collect to:

  • Register and authenticate you: we use your personal information to allow you to register for our services and update your profile information.
  • Provide our services: we use your personal information to provide you with our services, including the time recording, reflection and resolution features of our services, and to customize the user experience (such as the language in which our services are provided to you and the time zone in which you record your activities using our services).
  • Payment: we use your personal information to give you access to the paid features of our services and charge our subscription fees.
  • Monitor the performance of and improve our services: we use your personal information to measure the performance of our services, fix issues, improve and otherwise develop the features and functionalities of our services, including by means of machine learning and anonymized analysis. We disclose personal information in the following ways:

  • Within Mana: We may disclose personal information to Mana’s corporate affiliates and subsidiaries for purposes and uses that are consistent with this Privacy Policy. For example, we may disclose your contact information to process and fulfill your requests in connection with our services or to facilitate communication between you and a local Mana representative.
  • With life coaches and guides: If you choose to share personal information with a life coach or guide, we will give them access to this information in accordance with your preferences.
  • Service providers and advisors: We may share your personal information with third party vendors and other service providers that perform services for us or on our behalf, which may include mailing, email or chat services, payment processing, marketing services, fraud prevention, web hosting, providing professional services, such as legal and accounting services, or providing analytic services.
  • The public: When you provide feedback or post user content on the services (e.g., if you post a product review or comment on our social media pages), your information may be displayed on our services or on our social media pages. When you engage with us on social media, we may tag your social media account or the social media account of others (e.g., to give photo credit to another user).
  • Business Transaction or Reorganization: We may take part in or be involved with a corporate business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, joint venture, or financing or sale of company assets. We may disclose personal information to a third party during negotiation of, in connection with or as an asset in such a corporate business transaction. Children’s Personal Information

Our websites and online services are not directed to, and we do not intend to, or knowingly, collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13, and we may include a higher minimum age requirement from time to time in the terms of service applicable to you. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use our services or otherwise provide us with any personal information either directly or by other means. If a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, we encourage the child’s parent or guardian to contact us to request that we remove the personal information from our systems. Except where we post, link to or expressly adopt or refer to this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, any personal information practices of third-party websites and online services or the practices of other third parties. Marketing and Communications Preferences, such as your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences, such as the language in which you choose to communicate with us. We use this information to provide notifications, send news, alerts and marketing communications and in accordance with your choices. The processing is necessary for our legitimate interest, namely ensuring the user receives the correct marketing and other communications in accordance with the user's preferences.

In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the rights described above.
